Straightforward and Reliable

I have been using GoCanvas for years and it has consistently delivered a straightforward and reliable experience. However, it is important to note that this app may not be suitable for beginners.

Date Entry Issue

One minor inconvenience I have encountered is that the dates on all forms have to be manually re-entered, including the year, month, and date. It would be more convenient if the dates defaulted to today's date. Despite this, I have found GoCanvas to be an essential tool for my daily field service reports as a technician for a service company.

User-Friendly Template Setup

Once the template is set up, GoCanvas is incredibly easy to use. I have found it to be more user-friendly on a PC. With this app, I can fill out forms, save and go back, discard, submit, hold off submitting, and even edit events after submission. It has been a great asset for my company, which has over 15 technicians using the app.

Potential for Customization

As a long-time user since 2013, I have witnessed the potential of GoCanvas to be adapted to suit a range of solutions for our clients. In fact, I have built my entire Appliance repair business using GoCanvas over the past 3 years. While it does take time to create an app without errors, the help section provided by GoCanvas proves to be valuable in achieving the desired results.

Reliable Performance

Contrary to some claims of crashes, I have never experienced any issues with GoCanvas. It has always performed flawlessly for me. Any reported crashes may be due to outdated computers or devices. I highly recommend GoCanvas with a 5-star rating.

Streamlined Processes and Excellent Customer Service

GoCanvas has streamlined various processes for my business. From form creation to deployment, use, and submission, everything is quick and easy. While there are a few limitations, such as the grids for loop screens, the benefits outweigh these limitations. Additionally, the customer service provided by GoCanvas has been exceptional. They respond promptly to support tickets, even on a Friday afternoon. The implementation specialist and account representative have been phenomenal to work with. GoCanvas stands out as one of the best software vendors I have ever worked with.

As a landscaping company, I have been using GoCanvas for over 3 years. It has been a great application for managing our landscaping job sheets, as well as forms for snow removal, irrigation, and fertilizer. The responsiveness and helpfulness of the GoCanvas team have been outstanding throughout the years.

Improved Customer Communication

GoCanvas has provided an easy and efficient way to stay in contact with my customers and keep them informed. It has significantly reduced the need for phone calls and conversations, making customer service much easier. With around 20 logins for our company, I would appreciate a better search system on both the mobile and web platforms. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have more map functionality built into the mobile app, such as turn-by-turn directions to a captured GPS record or GIS APIs that can be linked.

Transition from Paperwork to Digital

GoCanvas has allowed us to move away from paperwork orders and transition smoothly into digital processes. Once our employees learned how to use it, our operations have been running seamlessly. Overall, it is a great app. The recent update has been impressive, although I have noticed one issue where I can no longer copy and paste emails when submitting reports to customers. Aside from this minor setback, I love everything else about GoCanvas.
